Who comes in. Who gets where.

An access management system for any building that controls who enters and where they can go. Corporate offices, schools, hospitals and clinics, hotels, gyms, coworking spaces, government buildings, residential properties, event venues, restricted facilities. Visitor pre-registration, badge or wristband issuance, role-based door access, time-windowed credentials, and the audit trail your security team or insurer wants.

Why this beats a sign-in sheet at the front desk

An access program that holds up to your security review.

Most buildings still run visitor check-in on a paper sheet, badges that anyone can swap, and door access that only IT can configure. NOWAITN Access is a real access program — pre-registered visitors, role-based door scopes, time-windowed credentials, and an audit log of every entry and exit.

01

Pre-registered visitors with a QR they show at the door

Host invites a visitor; system sends a QR code by email or SMS with the day, time, and check-in location. Visitor arrives, scans the QR at a kiosk or with reception, gets the right badge or wristband automatically — no paper sign-in, no name-spelling, no wrong-floor wandering.

Invite → QR → check-in → right credential
02

Role-based door access, time-windowed

A contractor working on the third floor between 9am and 4pm gets a credential that opens only the third-floor doors and only during those hours. Roles, zones, time windows — composable per credential, no IT ticket per visitor.

Roles + zones + windows → exact-fit credential
03

Audit trail your insurer or security review accepts

Every entry, every door scan, every exit logged with credential, person, location, and timestamp. Sufficient for SOC 2 physical-controls evidence, HIPAA facility-access logs, K-12 campus visitor compliance, and any insurance review on facility access.

Per-event log · exportable · timestamped
Common questions

Access, answered.

Anything that controls who enters. Corporate offices manage staff and visitor access; schools manage parent pickup and contractor entry; hospitals and clinics manage patient escorts, contractor access, and restricted-area credentials; hotels manage room access and amenity entry; gyms and clubs manage member entry; coworking spaces manage member day-passes and guest access; government buildings manage citizen visit logs and contractor entry; residential properties manage tenant and guest access; event venues manage attendee, vendor, and crew credentials.

Envoy and SwipedOn are visitor management focused — they handle the front-desk check-in, but not door access. Brivo and similar card-access systems handle door control but not visitor flow or credential issuance. NOWAITN Access is the whole flow: visitor invite, check-in, credential issuance, door scoping, audit — connected to HCM (your staff), CRM (your customers and members), and Certifications (any required credentials).

The plan is a pluggable transport layer for door controllers — similar to how Printing handles printers. Specific integrations announced at launch. Visitor management and credential issuance work on day one without door hardware integration.

Yes to multi-location at launch — each site runs its own visitor and access program; org admins see all sites from one dashboard. Free-tier scope to be confirmed at launch.

Access is in the platform roadmap and not yet generally available. Sign up to be notified at launch, or talk to us about being part of the early-access cohort.
